V druhom semestri programu ŠTC Microsoft sa naši študenti mohli venovať IoT alebo programovaniu. Martina Inkábová je ďalšou z tých, ktorí sa vydali práve cestou IoT. Náplňou jej výstupného projektu bolo vytvoriť snímač v simulovanom priestore Raspberry Pi kontrolujúci teplotu a vlhkosť v miestnosti – podstatné faktory pre komfort a zdravie ľudí.
Napriek tomu, že nešlo o fyzické zariadenie, sa vývoj tohto snímača nezaobišiel bez výziev. Jednou z nich bolo naprogramovanie realistickej simulácie merania hodnôt. Bolo potrebné si naštudovať vlastnosti prachových častíc a faktory ovplyvňujúce ich koncentráciu. Ďalšou výzvou bolo prepojenie simulácie s dashboardom a zobrazenie nameraných hodnôt prehľadným a intuitívnym spôsobom.
Práca na tomto projekte však priniesla mnoho cenných skúseností. Študentka sa naučila programovať v prostredí Tinkercad, simulovať správanie IoT zariadení a pracovať s dátami. Taktiež získala nové znalosti z oblastí, ako je kvalita ovzdušia a možnosti, ako ju ovplyvňovať.
Tento projekt študentke ukázal fascinujúci svet IoT a jeho potenciál pre zlepšovanie našich životov. Zároveň jej poskytol príležitosť rozvíjať technické zručnosti a kreatívne myslenie.
